Heroic Campaigner for Motor Neuron Disease Awareness

Leeds - Former Leeds Rhinos and Great Britain rugby league star Rob Burrow has sadly passed away at the age of 41. Burrow had been living with motor neuron disease (MND) since 2019.

Despite his diagnosis, Burrow became a tireless campaigner for MND awareness. His positive attitude and determination inspired countless people across the world.

In his final message, Burrow urged people to "live each day like it's your last." He said, "Don't waste a moment, because you never know what's around the corner."

Burrow's passing is a great loss to the rugby league community and to the world. He will be remembered as a fierce competitor, a compassionate advocate, and a true hero.
